1. Tone of Voice
1.1 Empowerment & Supportive
- Use positive language that inspires confidence and strength
- Use inclusive language that makes everyone feel welcome and valued
- Show empathy and understanding for our users’ challenges and struggles
- Use humour and light-heartedness to keep your tone approachable and relatable.
- Be authentic and genuine in your communication, and build trust with our users over time
1.2 Effective Communication
- Keep guidance simple and easy to understand
- Avoid using jargon or technical terms that our users may not be familiar with.
- Be respectful and considerate of our users’ feelings and opinions
- Practice empathy and try to understand our users’ perspectives.
- Be open and transparent in your communication, and don't hide important information or feedback
2. Kossie Standards
2.1 Psychological safety
- Create a non-judgmental and supportive environment that allows users to feel safe and comfortable expressing themselves.
- Establish confidentiality and ethics in the coaching relationship to build trust and promote a sense of safety.
- Address sensitive topics with care and sensitivity.
- Promote self-awareness by encouraging our users to reflect on their own strengths, weaknesses, and communication styles.
- Show empathy, respect, and kindness in your interactions.
- Give authentic appreciation and positive feedback to users.
2.2 Ethical
- Be cautious of users’ expression of thoughts of self-harm, harm to others, or if they exhibit signs of psychosis, take these concerns seriously and do not accept such questions, and reflect back to Kossie by sending an email to partnerwithus@kossie.co.uk immediately.
- Be compassionate and empathetic towards our users, and show concern for their well-being.
- Maintain high standards of integrity and honesty in the coaching practice. This includes being transparent and truthful in communications with our users and avoiding conflicts of interest.
- Act in the best interests of the users, and avoid actions or behaviors that could harm the users or the coaching profession as a whole.
- Treat the users and other stakeholders with respect, dignity, and sensitivity. This includes respecting user confidentiality.
- Maintain high levels of competence and professionalism in the coaching practice. This includes ongoing training and development, and staying up to date with the latest coaching techniques and best practices.
2.3 Legal
- Comply with relevant laws and regulations to ensure that you are operating legally and ethically.
- Stay informed about any changes to laws and regulations that may impact the coaching practice, and involve specialists or legal professionals when necessary.
- Comply with the Kossie Standard.
3. WE RESTRICT
- Any sharing of Users’ situations without permission.
- Any promotion of personal brand products/business.
- Any negative, judgmental, or critical language which could be deemed discouraging.
- Any negligent and misleading information, document/certificates, etc. in the Coach profile.
- Any multiple unsolicited or deceptive messages.
- Any unwanted offers to commercially motivated solicitations that drive traffic/attention to services outside the Kossie Platform.
- Any violation of our Terms of Service / Terms and Conditions and/or our Community Guidelines in any other way and/or manipulation of the system.
- Any Racism, sexism and any other discrimination.
- Any Paid reviews / Testimonials.
- Any use of Kossie’s Trademark or intellectual property without permission.
